The delivery network already exists. It just isn't organised yet.

Every day, millions of people move between Indian cities with space to spare. CarryBuddies is the trust layer that turns that spare capacity into a delivery network worth using.

Why we exist

Sending something across India is still harder than it should be

A document that needs to be in Jaipur tomorrow becomes a two-day courier booking. A forgotten charger, a set of keys, a pack of medicine, a client sample — all technically easy to move, all priced and scheduled as though they were freight.

Meanwhile the 9 AM train to the same city carries hundreds of people with half-empty bags. The capacity was never the problem. Trust was. Nobody hands a parcel to a stranger without knowing who they are, without proof it was collected, and without knowing the money is safe.

So that's what we built first — verification, OTP handover, escrow and evidence — and then a marketplace on top of it.

What we optimise for

Accountability over convenience

If a safeguard slows a booking down but makes a dispute resolvable, we keep the safeguard.

Evidence over trust

Nobody should have to take anyone's word for anything. Every handover leaves a record.

Both sides protected

A platform that only protects senders runs out of travellers. We design for both.

Honest about what we are

We're an intermediary, not a courier. We say so plainly rather than blurring it in the fine print.

Our principles

Four rules we won't trade away for growth

No anonymous accounts

Full KYC before anyone can send or carry. It costs us sign-ups and we're fine with that — an unverified network is one bad incident away from being unusable for everyone on it.

No handover without proof

OTP plus photograph at both ends, every time. We won't ship a "quick handover" shortcut, because the shortcut is exactly what a dispute later hinges on.

No cash between users

Every rupee moves through escrow. Off-platform payment strips away that safeguard for both parties and removes the record that makes disputes solvable.

No tolerance for misdeclaration

Declare what's in the parcel, honestly, every time. Get it wrong deliberately and the account is gone permanently — and where the law requires it, the record goes onward.

Where we are

Building carefully, city by city

A peer-to-peer network is only as good as its density on a given route. We'd rather open one corridor properly than ten badly.

Done

Closed pilot

Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru — invited senders and travellers only.

Now

Waitlist open

Collecting demand by route so we open corridors where both sides already exist.

Next

Public launch

Metro corridors first, with full KYC and escrow live from day one. Parcel protection follows close behind — it isn't switched on yet.

Later

Business senders

Bulk booking, invoicing and higher-value protection tiers for small businesses.

Roadmap, not a promise Timelines and feature availability may change. Some capabilities described across this site are still in development and may not be available in every city at launch.
