Home / Pricing

Clear pricing. No surprises at handover.

You see the full amount before you book, the traveller sees exactly what they'll receive, and nothing changes after the parcel is collected.

What you pay

A delivery price has two parts today

That's all of them. There are no fuel surcharges, no handling fees and no charge for using the platform to browse or chat. A third part — parcel protection — is being built and is not charged yet.

1 · Delivery fee

Set by distance, weight and parcel size, then agreed directly between you and the traveller. On busy corridors travellers compete, which pushes it down; on urgent or unusual routes, expect to pay a premium.

2 · Service fee — 15%

Deducted from the traveller's side of the delivery fee, not added to yours. It funds verification checks, escrow, payment processing, tracking, support and dispute resolution.

3 · Parcel protection

Not live yet, and nothing is charged for it. When it launches, baseline cover will be included free on every shipment, with the option to upgrade to a tier matched to your declared value at checkout.

The cover we're building

This is what we're building, not what you can buy today. The tiers below are planned pricing and are not yet on sale — nothing on this page is charged for protection right now.

Not available yet Parcel protection is still in development. No shipment is currently covered, no protection fee is charged, and no claim can be made under these tiers. What protects a delivery today is verification, OTP handover, photo proof at both ends and escrow — your money doesn't move until delivery is confirmed. We'll announce here the day cover goes live.

Prohibited items, misdeclared contents and items with no proof of value will never be covered. Tier names, limits and pricing may change before launch, and availability may vary by city.
Billing questions

Money, plainly answered

When am I charged?

At booking, once a traveller accepts your parcel. The money goes into escrow — it is not paid to the traveller until delivery is verified. Browsing, posting a parcel and chatting cost nothing.

Can the price change after booking?

No. The agreed amount is locked at booking. The one exception is if the parcel presented at pickup is materially heavier or larger than declared — in that case the traveller can decline it, or you can both agree a revised price in-app before collection.

How are refunds handled?

Because funds sit in escrow, a refund is a release back to you rather than a clawback from the traveller. If the traveller cancels or fails to collect, you're refunded in full. Sender-side cancellations are refunded on a sliding scale depending on timing — the detail is in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Am I charged for parcel protection?

No. Parcel protection is not live yet, so nothing is charged for it and no shipment is covered. The tiers on this page are the plan, not a product on sale. Today the sender pays the agreed delivery fee and nothing else, and the safeguards in place are ID verification, OTP handover, photo proof and escrow.

Do travellers pay anything to use CarryBuddies?

No sign-up fee, no subscription and no charge for publishing trips. The only deduction is the 15% service fee taken from a completed delivery. If you don't carry, you don't pay.

Which payment methods do you accept?

UPI, debit and credit cards, and netbanking, processed through established Indian payment gateways. We never store your card details. Cash between users isn't allowed on the platform — if a traveller asks for it, report them.
